Pete joined The CDI Group in February 2008 as an Associate after merging his small defense intelligence contracting business with SpecTIR, LLC. Pete brings his almost 20 years experience to CDI Clients who are involved with federal government contracts in the Intelligence Community.  Pete enlisted in the US Navy in December of 1990 as an Intelligence Specialist and was assigned to the Office of Naval Intelligence in Washington, DC.

After leaving the Navy in 1995, Pete continued to work as a contactor providing intelligence analysis support to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the Defense Intelligence Agency through subcontracts with Autometric, Inc., The Boeing Company and McClendon Corporation. As a small business owner he has gained valuable experience building fully burdened rates, working with firm fixed price contracts, GSA schedules, time and materials contracts, billing cycles and facility clearances.

Pete holds a BS in Liberal Arts/Sociology from Regents College. He continues to consult with the Defense Intelligence Agency in order to maintain his security clearance. He is also a PADI Open Water scuba diver, a certificated Private Pilot, and tinkers with air-cooled Porsche 911’s.
